On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the Fondazione per l’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT reaffirms its desire to position itself on the international scene, spreading its values as a private institution with public objectives.
To this end, in addition to increasing the visibility and knowledge of its collection in Turin’s museums – including the GAM Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea and the Castello di Rivoli Contemporary Art Museum – and in Italian and international institutions, and in addition to its commitment to education, training and the production of art in public spaces, the Foundation has created a special category of membership for personalities closely linked to the art world. These are true “ambassadors” who are called upon to support and, above all, disseminate the values and projects of a Foundation that believes in the dynamic role of its private heritage: A heritage that unites works, projects, knowledge and, above all, people.
In the course of next year, Turin and other Italian cities will host meetings called Pastis, from the Piedmontese ‘mess’ or ‘pie’, organised by the Fondazione Arte CRT under the curatorship of Nicolas Ballario, to discuss, talk and gather new ideas.
Past editions
Pastis 2024
The first edition of the Pastis (from the Piedmontese word for “pasty”), project curated by Nicolas Ballario, was launched during the Art Week in Turin at the famous Pastis restaurant, and will return to other Italian cities in 2025 on the occasion of important cultural events to dialogue, discover and share stories related to the world of contemporary art.
We welcome the first Fondazione Arte CRT Ambassadors: Lorenzo Balbi, Nicolas Ballario, Luca Beatrice, Ruth Beraha, Valerio Berruti, Leonardo Bigazzi, Ilaria Bonacossa, Guglielmo Castelli, Luca Cerizza, Nathan Clements-Gillespie, Stefano Colicelli Cagol, Rossella Farinotti, Arturo Galansino, Paola Manfredi, Bruno and Ilenia Paneghini, Marta Papini, Alessandro Rabottini, Nicola Ricciardi, Alessandra Tronconi, Jacopo Veneziani, Angela Vettese and Eugenio Viola.
