A RECOUNT ON THE CATALOGUE PRESENTATION

Presented on Thursday, 29 October at the Artissima Meeting Point, A Perspective on The Contemporary | The Fondazione Arte CRT Collection, the new volume published by Allemandi Editore and edited by Guido Curto, is dedicated to twenty-five years of acquisitions by Fondazione Arte CRT, spanning the period from 2000 to 2025.

The presentation featured Anna Maria Poggi, President of Fondazione CRT; Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, President of Fondazione Arte CRT; Guido Curto, editor of the volume; Hans Ulrich Obrist, curator and member of the Fondazione Arte CRT Scientific Committee; and Flaminia Gennari Santori, art historian.

The publication retraces the history of a continuously expanding collection, which today comprises more than 1,000 works by over 400 international artists. Ranging from painting and sculpture to photography, video, installations, and emerging forms of contemporary artistic research, the collection represents a total investment exceeding €43 million. Through critical essays and an extensive iconographic section, the volume documents the Foundation’s role in supporting artistic production, enhancing cultural heritage, and fostering dialogue with cultural institutions across the region.
