Conceived and promoted by the art-oriented organisation\u00a0<strong>Fondazione Arte CRT<\/strong>, a entity of<strong>\u00a0Fondazione CRT<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>it is aimed at schools in Piedmont<\/strong>\u00a0and is designed to foster knowledge of and engagement with contemporary art within the school curriculum.<\/p>\n<p>Building on the success of previous editions, the third aulArte edition has two key objectives: encouraging engagement with contemporary art in schools and promoting access to cultural venues for students, as well as providing professional development opportunities for teachers. The 2025 edition involved 30 Piedmontese schools, with over 2,000 students in total.<\/p>\n<p>Through the call for proposals, which is<strong>\u00a0open to all Piedmont and Aosta Valley schools<\/strong>, the Foundation will provide a total contribution of<strong> \u20ac70,000, \u20ac2,000 for each of the 35 beneficiary schools <\/strong>(an increase from 30 in the previous edition). This funding is intended to support the costs of <strong>educational trips<\/strong> to Piedmont\u2019s museums and contemporary art foundations: these include the Castello di Rivoli Museo d\u2019Arte Contemporanea (Rivoli), Cittadellarte \u2013 Fondazione Pistoletto (Biella), GAM Galleria Civica d\u2019Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Fondazione Merz, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, PAV Parco Arte Vivente, Pinacoteca Agnelli and from this year OGR Torino (Turin).<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for submitting applications is\u00a0<strong>13 June 2025,\u00a0<\/strong>with the selected schools being announced on<strong>\u00a030 June.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0<strong>free teacher training programme<\/strong>\u00a0run by the Education Departments of the contemporary art institutions involved will accompany the grant. Starting in\u00a0<strong>autumn 2025<\/strong>, it will provide teachers with the tools to independently develop a didactic approach that uses contemporary art within the school curriculum.
