The third edition of the EXPOSED Torino Photo Festival<\/strong><\/a> is now officially open. Running until 2 June, the programme features 18 exhibitions, talks, special events and initiatives across the city<\/strong>. All of these can be visited for free or at a reduced price with the\u00a0PASS EXPOSED<\/a><\/b><\/strong>. As one explore the ‘Photography Mile’, a route linking the festival’s exhibition venues and beyond, you can discover the city’s rich photographic heritage.<\/p>\n

The theme chosen for the 2026 edition is Mettersi a nudo<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(Laid bare)<\/em><\/strong>: an invitation to look within and beyond appearances, to question the relationship between identity and representation, body and image, visible and invisible. This open and multi-layered theme runs through the exhibitions, talks and events held throughout the city, involving national and international artists and institutions and giving rise to a constellation of perspectives and viewpoints in dialogue with each other. From the 19th to the 21st century, the heart of photography laid bare.<\/p>\n

Promoted by a committee comprising Citt\u00e0 di Torino, Regione Piemonte, Camera di Commercio di Torino, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, and the Fondazione CRT <\/strong>in collaboration with the Fondazione Arte CRT <\/strong>and Intesa Sanpaolo<\/strong>, and coordinated by the Fondazione per la Cultura Torino<\/strong>, the third edition of EXPOSED<\/strong>, curated and organised by CAMERA \u2013 Centro Italiano per la Fotografia<\/strong>, aims to highlight and reinforce Turin\u2019s reputation as a city of photography.<\/p>\n

Now in its third edition, the festival is entering a new phase<\/strong>, with the artistic direction of Walter Guadagnini<\/strong> \u2014 one of the most influential figures in contemporary Italian and international photography \u2014 taking the helm as artistic director. It is not merely an exhibition platform, but rather a structured curatorial framework<\/strong> capable of guiding content, languages and relationships. It has a project for Turin that combines curatorial quality and widespread participation, and it fosters a constant dialogue between venues, artists and the public<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The programme<\/strong> for the third edition of EXPOSED<\/strong> comprises 18 temporary indoor and outdoor exhibitions<\/strong>, as well as talks, portfolio reviews, screenings and other events<\/strong>. These have been organised in collaboration with Turin\u2019s leading institutions, independent organisations and key figures from the city\u2019s art scene. After a four-day opening weekend (9\u201312 April)<\/strong> the programme continues with a packed calendar<\/strong>\u00a0offering true immersion in yesterday’s and today’s photography<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
