Follow them with us on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/fondartecrt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/it-it.facebook.com\/fondartecrt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a>\u00a0e\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/fondazione-per-l-arte-moderna-e-contemporanea-crt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Linkedin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The Fondazione per l&#8217;Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT is proud to announce the loan of two works by the artist <strong>Antonio Sanfilippo <\/strong>from the Galleria Civica d&#8217;Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Turin to the <strong>RISO Museum &#8211; Museo Regionale d&#8217;Arte Moderna e Contemporanea of Palermo<\/strong>, on the occasion of the centenary of the painter&#8217;s birth.<\/p>\n<p>The works <em>Nero e rosso (Schema Astratto 28\/55<\/em> ), 1955 and <em>Senza titolo (Pittura 39\/59<\/em> ), 1959 are now on display in the historic Palazzo Belmonte Riso, home of the museum, and will contribute to the dissemination of artistic culture and dialogue between the two institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition \u201cAntonio Sanfilippo. Segni, Forme, Sogni della Pittura. Cento Anni\u201d (Antonio Sanfilippo. Signs, shapes, dreams of painting. Hundred years), curated by the art critic Prof. Bruno Cor\u00e0, is organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Partanna (place of birth of the Artist), the Sanfilippo Archive in Rome and the Fondazione Sebastiano Tusa. Starting in the early 1950s, a series of trips to Paris and time spent there contributed to the rapid development of his painting in the so-called \u201cconcrete\u201d style of the time, characterized by free plastic aggregations, arranged in contrasting chromatic relationships. His work continued to evolve, and between 1953 and 1954 he developed a style marked by interwoven signs.
