{"id":11704,"date":"2022-11-07T12:41:47","date_gmt":"2022-11-07T11:41:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fondazioneartecrt.it\/?post_type=news&#038;p=11704"},"modified":"2022-11-07T15:12:38","modified_gmt":"2022-11-07T14:12:38","slug":"metamorphosis","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/fondazioneartecrt.it\/en\/news\/metamorphosis\/","title":{"rendered":"METAMORPHOSIS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sunday November 6 | 4 artists announced for <a href=\"https:\/\/fondazioneartecrt.it\/en\/news\/artissima-2022-metamorphosis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">METAmorphosis<\/a><\/strong>, the second edition of the Beyond Production platform born from the collaboration of <strong>Fondazione per l\u2019Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artissima.art\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Artissima<\/strong><\/a> that in 2022 invites contemporary artists to explore the phenomenon of the <strong>Metaverse<\/strong>. After careful selection of artists taking part in the fair on the part of Ilaria Bonacossa, director of the National Museum of Digital Art in Milan, the four artists have been announced during a talk at the Meeting Point:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcos Lutyens<\/strong> \u2013 Alberta Pane, Paris, Venice<br \/>\n<strong>Eva &amp; Franco Mattes<\/strong> \u2013 Apalazzogallery, Brescia<br \/>\n<strong>Rebeca Romero<\/strong> \u2013 Copperfield, London<br \/>\n<strong>R M<\/strong> \u2013 Martina Simeti, Milan<\/p>\n<p>METAmorphosis, after offering the participants a formative journey in the Metaverse, its politics and visions, will ask the artists to present an idea that illustrates the digital transformation of one of their physical artworks within the Metaverse.<br \/>\nAn international jury will choose the artist who has interpreted \u2013 in the most original, stimulating and critical way \u2013 the request to imagine how their research, and therefore their work, could be transformed if their life environment was deeply influenced by the logic of existence in the Metaverse. The winner will have the opportunity to digitalize a physical work in keeping with their own imagination.
